1. Preps follicle to release mature egg
   -Hypothalamus releases gonadotropic releasing hormone
   - This causes anterior pit gland to release FSH (causes a follicle to grow and prep it’s egg, to prep egg it releases steady amount of estrogen which matures the egg. Once the egg is mature from estrogen, it causes follicle to release a lot of estrogen to celebrate which causes LH secretion)

1 day later… LH causes the egg to be released from the follicle and helps form the corpus luteum, which tells the uterus to start prepping the party (making lining)
