Start key - activate oil pressure - rising within 3 seconds voltage/amps - check rpm 900 +- 20 - check annunciator - check
Taxi checks
brakes - check Rudder/ steering - full deflection/ check flight instruments(PFD- AI, Turn rate, Hsi. Standby- AI, Ball, Compass) - Check
Runway entry checks
Anti ice - normal/ off (as req) landing light - on strobes - on pitot heat - on /as req (stall heat caution acknowledge) HSI/Compass/Runway - check
Cleared take off checks
power levers - max
Temps & Pressures - check normal
RPM - stable (2240-2300)
Load - 90-100%
After Take off/ Go around checks
Gear - Up trans light out Flaps - up Landing light - as required Altimeters - set/ cross check Power - 500ft AAL 90% Radio/Nav aids - set/ check
Final descent checks
Altimeters - Set/ cross check
Gear - Down 3 greens
Power - As required
Flap - As required
Final safety check
Gear - Down 3 greens Approach - Stable a) IFR gate 1000ft AAL b) VFR gate 400ft AAL Flaps - as required a) landing gate 100ft AAL
Engine fire on ground
Power levers(2) - idle Engine masters(2) - Off Fuel selectors(2) - off Inform ATC Electric master - off [when engines stopped and aircraft at standstill] Canopy - open Aircraft - evacuate
Engine fire during take off
during ground roll or emergency re landing
Power - idle Rudder - maintain directional control Brakes - As required inform ATC Engine masters (2) - off Fuel selectors(2) - off Electric master - off Cabin heat & defrost - off

Fire after lift off - continued take off
Power - Max Rudder maintain directional control Airspeed Vyse - 82 kts / as req Landing gear - up Flaps - up Power lever (affected engine) - idle Engine master (affected engine) - off Alternator (affected engine) - off Fuel selector (affected engine) - off Cabin heat and defrost - off Canopy - unlatch if necessary - max 120kts Inform ATC
