21
Q

APU Maximum Operating Altitude

A

41,000 ft

22
Q

APU BLEED air switch Limitations

A

-Switch must be closed for 2 minutes after start and for 1 minute prior to shutdown (OFF is met automatically)
-Switch may be open for engine start, but avoid power above idle
-Except for starting the APU bleed valve must be closed when another source is pressuring the left bleed duct.

23
Q

Maximum flap extension altitude

A

20,000 ft. (AFM)

24
Q

Holding in icing conditions…

A

Holding in icing conditions with flaps extended is prohibited. (AFM)

25
Q

Minimum Height for speed brake usage

A

1000 ft AGL

26
Q

Max SPEED BRAKE extension in flight

A

In flight, do not extend the SPEED BRAKE lever beyond the FLIGHT DETENT. (AFM)

27
Q

Max flap setting with speed brakes

A

Do not deploy speed brakes with more than Flaps 10 extended. *

*Although not prohibited, the use of speed brakes with Flaps 1-10 extended should be avoided as much as possible. The use of speed brakes with flaps extended increases loads on the trailing edge flaps, resulting in increased wear and tear.

28
Q

Load Alleviation System (700W/900ER)

A

Manually overriding the Load Alleviation System is not authorized.

29
Q

Minimum fuel temperature

A

-37°C unless actual fuel freeze point is known.

30
Q

Max Fuel Imbalance

A

Allowable lateral imbalance between Main Tanks 1 and 2 must be scheduled to be zero. Transient fuel imbalance must not exceed 1000 lbs for taxi, takeoff, flight or landing.

Main Wing Tanks must be scheduled to be full if the center tank contains more than 1000 lbs.

31
Q

Center Tank Fuel Pumps (AFM/ASA)

A

-For ground operation, Center Tank FUEL PUMP switches must not be ON unless Center Tank quantity exceeds 1000 lbs, except when defueling or transferring fuel.

-Center Tank Fuel Pumps must not be on unless Flight Deck is attended to monitor LOW PRESSURE lights.

-For ground and flight operations, the corresponding Center Tank Fuel Pump switch must be positioned OFF when the LOW PRESSURE light illuminates. If the Center Tank is empty, position both Center Tank FUEL PUMP switches to OFF.

32
Q

Minimum fuel level for ground operation of electric hydraulic pumps

A

Ground operation of electric hydraulic pump requires minimum 1675 lbs in respective fuel tank.

33
Q

Smoke, Fire or Fumes in Passenger Cabin or Flight Deck

A

1 Oxygen Masks & Regulators (if required)…………………..On, 100%
2 Smoke Goggles (If required)……
….………………………………ON

34
Q

Runaway Stabilizer

A

1 Control Column…………Hold firmly
2 Autopilot (if engaged)……Disengage
3 Autothrottle (if engaged)…Disengage
4 Control Column and Thrust Levers….
……Control aircraft pitch attitude and airspeed
5 Main Electric Stabilizer Trim…Reduce control column forces
6 If the runaway stops after autopilot is disengaged: Do not re-engage autopilot or autothrottle.

If the runaway continues:
Stabilizer Trim Wheel……. Grasp & Hold

35
Q

CABIN ALTITUDE WARNING or Rapid Depressurization

A

1 Oxygen Masks & Regulators………. ……ON, 100%
