A

“UNRELIABLE SPEED”

If safe conduct of the flight is impacted:

1.- AP -> OFF
2.- A/THR -> OFF
3.- FD -> OFF
4.- PITCH/THRUST:
Below THRUST RED ALT -> 15º/TOGA
Above THRUST RED ALT and below FL100 -> 10º/CLB
Above THRUST RED ALT and above FL100 -> 5º/CLB
5.- FLAPS:
If CONF 0(1)(2)(3) -> MAINTAIN CURRENT CONF
If CONF FULL -> SELECT CONF 3 AND MAINTAIN
6.- SPEEDBRAKES -> CHECK RETRACTED
7.- L/G -> UP

When at or above MSA or Circuit Altitude: Level off for troubleshooting

5.- FLIGHT PATH -> RECOVER SMOOTHLY
IF in Clean Configuration AND below 20 000 ft:
6.- FLAPS 1 -> SELECT

    • BANK -> WINGS LEVEL or ADJUST
      - DO NOT CHANGE CONFIGURATION UNTIL CLEAR OF OBSTACLE -

During daylight and VMC with terrain and obstacle clearly insight:

1.- FLIGHT PATH -> ADJUST

TCAS WARNINGS

A

TCAS TRAFFIC ADVISORY (TA)

1.- TCAS MODE -> CHECK ARMED
2.- “TCAS BLUE” or IF AP/FD TCAS not available: “TCAS, I have control”
If A/THR is off:
3.- A/THR -> ON

TCAS RESOLUTION ADVISORY (RA)

1.- “TCAS” or IF AP/FD TCAS not available: “SET FDs OFF”
WITHOUT TCAS flight guidance mode:
2.- AP (if engaged) -> OFF BOTH
3.- FDs -> OFF
4.- VERTICAL SPEED -> ADJUST OR MAINTAIN
5.- Notify to ATC: “TCAS RA”, and …
When clear of conflict: “CLEAR OF CONFLICT, RETURNING TO ….”

WINDSHEAR WARNING

A

“WINDSHEAR TOGA” or below V1 in T/O: “STOP”

1.- THR LEVERS -> TOGA
2.- REACHING VR (if in T/O after V1) -> ROTATE
3.- AP (if engaged) -> KEEP ON
4.- SRS ORDERS -> FOLLOW
In case of “GO AROUND, WINDSHEAR AHEAD”
4.- GO-AROUND -> PERFORM
5.- AP (if engaged) -> KEEP ON
- DO NOT CHANGE CONFIGURATION UNTIL OUT OF WINDSHEAR
- CLOSELY MONITOR FLIGHT PATH AND SPEED
- RECOVER SMOOTHLY TO NORMAL CLIMB OUT OF WINDSHEAR
If necessary, pull the sidestick fully back.
Autopilot disengages if the AoA value goes above alfa prot.
If the PD bars are not displayed; initial pitch attitude 17.5º, then, if necessary, to prevent loss in altitude, increase the pitch attitude.
