- Fuel Control Switch - Cutoff
ENG 1,2,3,4 FAIL
(TWO or MORE ENGINES)
- Fuel Control Switch - Confirm, Cutoff, then Run
- EGT - MONITOR
FIRE ENGINE 1,2,3,4
SEVERE ENG DAMAGE/SEPARATION
- Thrust Lever - CONFIRM, IDLE
- Fuel Control Switch - CONFIRM, CUTOFF
- Engine Fire Switch - CONFIRM, PULL
if FIRE ENG msg shown - ROTATE
if after 30 seconds the FIRE ENG msg stays - ROTATE to other bottle
FIRE APU
- APU Fire Switch - Pull & Rotate
Rotate to the stop and hold for 1 sec
ENGINE LIMIT/SURGE STALL
- Thrust Lever - Retard
Retard until indications remain within normal limits or return to normal, or the thrust lever is closed.
FIRE WHEEL WELL
- Landing Gear Lever - Down
Observe gear extend limit speed (270kts/.82M)
EVACUATION
(not a memory, good to know)
- Parking Brake - Set
- Outflow valve Man Switches (Both) - On
- Outflow Valves Manual Control - Open
- Fuel Control Switches (All) - Cutoff
- Advise Cabin to Evacuate
- Advise the Tower
- Engine Fire Switches (All) - Pull
- APU Fire Switch - Override & Pull
If an engine or APU fire warning occurs:
- Related Fire Switch - Rotate to stop and hold for 1 sec
Engine Failure (On the ground)
- Fuel Control switch - CUTOFF
Engine Fire (on the ground)
- Fuel Control Switch - CUTOFF

WARNING: DO NOT PROCEED UNTIL ENGINE SHUTDOWN HAS OCCURED.
If FIRE indications persists after shutdown:
- Enigne Fire Switch - PULL
- Engine Fire Switch - ROTATE
After a momentary delay:
- Engine Fire Switch - ROTATE (to other bottle)
Lower Cargo Fire
(on the ground)
- Cargo Fire Arm switch - PUSH
- Cargo Fire Depress/Disch - PUSH
