A

Decision speed is rotate.
Flap 15. 79kts. Flap 30. 73kts

Before decision speed
PCL idle
Max braking
If required
Feather, fuel emerg shutoff, gangbar off. 
Airborne below 500 agl
Nose down 5 degrees. Select landing site
Confirm full or partial failure. 
PCL idle
Consider flap and gear. 
If putting gear down, non essential bus. 
If full failure, feather, fuel emerg shutoff.
Flap 40
Gang bar off

Above 500 agl, can turn 90 degrees

Above 1000 agl can turn back. 
Nose down 5 deg
Turn into wind, max 45 bank
PCL idle. Confirm full or partial failure. 
If full failure, feather, fuel emerg shutoff 
Flaps 15. 
On final, gear down, non essential bus
Flaps as required. Gang bar off

Above 2000 agl, consider MOR

A

Push go around button.
Put altitude selector on altitude well above current altitude.
When IAS approx 115kts, put AP in IAS mode
Choose landing airfield. Select DCT TO
Mayday call. 7700
Consider MOR
If failed, PCL idle, feather, fuel emerg shutoff

Autopilot Trim
Red “A/P TRIM” on CAWS

Autopilot malfunction. Abrupt control and/or aeroplane motion, an A/P TRIM green caws caption or a AP TRIM warning with warning tone.

A

1 and 2 simultaneously

  1. Grasp control wheel firmly
  2. Autopilot disengage switch
  3. Retrim manually as required
  4. PULL AUTOPILOT circuit breaker
    (Avionics 2 busbar)
