  • Power lever - Disc
  • Condition Levers - Fuel Off
  • Pull Fuel/Hyd Off handle (affected engine) - Pull
  • Tank AUX Pumps (1 and 2) - OFF

IF FIRE:
•Extg switch - Fwd Btl

Wait up to 30 secs, if fire persists:
•Extg switch - Aft Btl

IF EVACUATION:
•Emergency Lights - ON
•Fasten Belts - OFF
•Evacuate - As Req'd
•AC/DC Ext Pwr and APU - OFF
•Battery Master - OFF

•Confirm APU automatic shutdown:

  • APU RUN Light - Out
  • APU FAIL, APU BTL LOW and FUEL VALVE CLOSED Lights - ON

If APU BTL ARM or APU FIRE Advisory light remains illuminated after 7 seconds:
•EXTG switch - Press

Propeller Overspeed

A
Acceleration Altitude or above 400 AGL
Affected Engine:
•Power Lever - Flight Idle
•Condition Lever - Start/Feather
•Alternate Feather (if Req'd) - Fthr

If propeller does not feather:
-DO NOT SHUT DOWN ENGINE
•Alternate Feather - Off
•Condition Levers - Max
•Power Levers - operate together as Req’d to maintain desired flight profile
•Airspeed - reduce toward min speed appropriate to flap config and flight conditions
-Land immediately at nearest suitable airport

If propeller feathers:
•Engine Fail/Fire/Shutdown - Accomplish Immediately

If continuous illumination of SPLR 1 or 2 PUSH OFF switchlights:
•Illuminated switchlights - Push OFF

If SPLR1 or SPLR2 push off switchlights do not illuminate:

  • Power - Apply
  • Airspeed - Increase

  • Pitch Control - Both pilots attempt to overcome jam

If unable to overcome jam:
•Relax control column force
•Pitch Disc Handle - Pull and rotate 90°
•Control Columns - Both pilots attempt pitch ctrl.

-Pilot with free control column will fly the aircraft.
