Q

O2 Mask Donning

A

Any time smoke or fumes are present or a situation requiring supplemental oxygen occurs, pilots will don the
oxygen masks prior to conducting any other checklist.
Either pilot, when detecting a situation which requires supplemental oxygen, shall:
1. Remove headset.
2. Don the oxygen mask.
3. Establish crew communications.
If smoke or fumes are present, the regulator may be selected to EMER which will prevent smoke from
entering the mask.
CAUTION:
If EMER has been selected on the regulator, oxygen supply may be depleted at a rapid rate.
