1. MCT- verify/ set Thrust lever (operating engine)
2. AT off
3. SPEED MAN and Green Dot
4. HDG- initiate turn if required
5. ALT- set 20,000/ Single Engine Driftdown altitude
6. FLC- press when speed reaches Green Dot
7. Green Dot- adjust and maintain throughout descent.
8. CHECKLIST- call for appropriate

- Single Engine Driftdown Altitude- obtain
- ATC- advise
- Checklists- accomplish
Upset Recovery (Nose High)
Both/Either Or
- Recognise and confirm situation
- “STALL”
PF 1. AP OFF 2. AT OFF 3. Recover- Nose Down and Bank Angle Complete Recovery: 4. Wings Level 5. Airspeed and Thrust- check and adjust 6. Pitch- re establish

- Attitude/ Altitude/ Airspeed- call out throughout recovery
- Verify all required actions completed
- Call out any omissions
Upset Recovery (Nose Low)

1. Recognize and confirm situation

- AP OFF
- AT OFF
- Recover from Stall if required
- Wings Level- roll shortest distance
- Level Flight- recover to (Nose up elevator/ Thrust and Drag adjust)
PM
- Attitude/ Altitude/ Airspeed- call out throughout recovery
- Verify all required actions completed
- Call out any omissions
Stall Recovery
PF
- “STALL”
- AP OFF
- AT OFF
- Spoilers- Retracted
- Recover- Pitch/ Roll/ Thrust
- Flight Path- return to
- Configuration- clean up/ call for
- Automation- re engage
PM
- Confirm AP & AT OFF
- Altitude & Speed trends- monitor/ call
- Spoilers- make sure retracted
- “CLEAR OF WARNING “
- Config as requested
TAWS
PF
- “FIREWALL”
- AP OFF

- Pull Up & Wings Level
- Spoilers- Retracted
- Climb at Best Angle (Soft Stop)
PM 1. Verify all actions completed 2. Call out any omissions 3. Speed & Altitude- Monitor (RAD ALT= Terrain Clearance) (BARO ALT= Safe Altitude)
When Clear/ No Risk PF 1. Pitch- slowly decrease and accelerate 2. Configuration- call for changes 3. Automation- re engage

When Clear PF 1. “GO AROUND. FLAP” 2. Configuration- call for changes 3. Automation- re engage

2. Configuration & Automation- call for/ select as required

Volcanic Ash
- AT OFF
- Thrust- decrease to Idle
- Course- Reverse (if possible)
- Oxygen Masks- don (as req’d)
- “Checklist- Volcanic Ash”
Smoke or Fire from Lithium Battery
- Transfer control to FCM opposite of smoke/ fire
- PA: “BACKUP TO THE FLIGHT DECK” x2
- “CHECKLIST- SMOKE OR FIRE FROM LITHIUM BATTERY”
Crew Incapacitation
- Determine Incapacitation
- Take control
- AP ON
- Call for assistance (FA/other pilot)
- Remove and Replace incapacitated FCM from controls
