Memory Items Flashcards
CABIN ALTITUDE WARNING
OR
RAPID DEPRESSURISATION
- Don oxygen masks and set regulator to 100%
- Establish crew communications
- Pressurisation mode selector ……Manual
- Outflow valve switch…….hold in close until the outflow valve
indication shows fully closed. - IF cabin altitude is uncontrollable:
Passenger signs….ON
Passenger Oxygen switch….ON
go to the emergency descent checklist pg 0.1
EMERGENCY DESCENT
- Announce the emergency descent
PF: advise cabin crew on the PA
PM: advise ATC and obtain area QNH - Passenger signs…………ON
- Without delay descend to LSA or 10,000ft whichever is higher
- Engine Start Switches (both)…………..CONT
- Thrust Levers (both)………Reduce to minimum or as required for anti ice
- Speedbrake……………………Flight detent
- Set target speed to Vmo/Mmo (if structural integrity in doubt, limit
speed and high manoeuvring loads)
Flight Control Limitations
Max altitude for flap extension - 20,000ft
Holding with flap extended in icing conditions prohibited
Avoid large alternating control inputs
Do not use speed brakes below 1000ft radio altitude
LOSS OF THRUST ON BOTH ENGINES
- ENGINE START switches (both) ………. FLT
- Engine start levers (both) ……….. CUTOFF
- When EGT decreases:
Engine start levers (both) . . . . . . IDLE detent - If EGT reaches a redline or there is no increase in EGT within 30 seconds:
Engine start lever (affected engine) . . . . Confirm . . . . . CUTOFF,
then IDLE detent
If EGT again reaches a redline or there is no increase in EGT within 30 seconds, repeat as needed.
AUTOLAND LIMITATIONS
Max headwind 25
Max crosswind 20/25

within limits or thrust lever is
closed
RUNAWAY STABALISER
1 Control column. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Hold firmly 2 Autopilot (if engaged).............Disengage
Do not re-engage the autopilot. Control airplane pitch attitude manually with control column and main electric trim as needed.
- Autothrottle (if engaged)………..Disengage
Do not re-engage the autothrottle. - If the runaway stops after the autopilot is disengaged:
■■■■ - If the runaway continues after the autopilot is disengaged:
STAB TRIM CUTOUT switches (both) ……………. CUTOUT
If the runaway continues: Stabilizer trimwheel ………. Grasp and hold
