X Bleed - Closed Affected Bleed - OFF if R Bleed Leak is on L Bleed - On APU BLEED - OFF
Pack Leak
Air source- Trim Air only
L (R) Pylon Bleed leak
Thrust Lever - Idle
Trim Air Leak
Air source- Pack Only
APU Fire
APU FIRE SWITCH - FIRE push
FIRE EXT 2 - ARMED push
APU OVERTEMP
APU SWITCH - OFF
TAWS AURAL PULL UP
Autopilot- Disconnect Thrust Levers- APR Flight spoilers - Retract Climb at maximum practical rate Landing gear - UP
Windshear. “Windshear, windshear”
Autopilot- Disconnect Thrust Levers - APR Flight Spoilers - Retract Rotate smoothly to TOGA , allowing airspeed to decrease if necessary Maintain wings level Do not retract flaps and landing gear.
Unreliable airspeed
Caution: Respect stall warning and stick pusher
Autopilot- Disconnect
FD’s deselect
Above min safe altitude proceed to step 6
Below min safe
Pitch/N1 - 15degrees/ T/O
Go around - Initiate
Clean up and climb above min safe altitude
In mountainous terrain with MSA ABOVE 15000 ft
Pitch/ N1 - 10 degrees/ Climb
L (R) Batt Overheat
Affected Battery - OFF
Emergency Evacuation
Park/Emer Brake - Set Emer Depress Switch - ON L and R ENG AND APU Fire switches - Push Evacuation - Command Controlling agency- Notify Stby Inst switch- OFF L AND R Batt switch - OFF
Overspeed
Thrust Levers - Idle
Autopilot- Disconnect
Flight spoilers lever - Emer
Level the wings, then pitch up
Stall
Lower the pitch attitude to reduce the angle of attack
Thrust Levers - APR
Flight Spoiler lever - Retract
Level the wings
PRI STAB TRIM FAIL
Stab trim switch - OFF
Pitch axis uncommanded
MSW switch - Depress and hold
Roll or Yaw axis uncommanded
MSW - Depress and hold
Pitch Control Jam
Pitch Disc handle - Pull and Turn
Determine side without the jam and transfer controls to that pilot
Roll control Jam
ROLL DISC Lever - Pull
Determine side without the jam and transfer control to that pilot
WING ANTI ICE LEAK
Wing Anti Ice Switch - Off
L (R) WING OVERHEAT
Wing Anti Ice switch - Off
GEAR BAY OVHT
Max airspeed - 250KIAS
Landing gear - DN
NORM BRAKES FAIL
After landing
Flight Spoilers lever - Emer
Park/ Emer Brake - Pull smoothly
L (R) ENG EXCEEDANCE
Affected Thrust lever- Retard
L(R) Eng fire before V1
Thrust Levers - Idle Brakes - Max or as required Thrust Reversers - Max or as required After stopping Park/ Emer brake - Set Affected Eng Fire switch - FIRE push FIRE EXT 1 and 2 switches - ARMED push EMER DEPRESS switch - ON Non-affected ENG and APU FIRE switch - push Evacuation - Command Controlling agency - Notify STBY INST switch - OFF L(R) BATT switch - OFF
L (R) ENG FIRE ABOVE V1
Rotate at Vr
Pitch attitude - adjust as required to achieve V2
Note: initially pitch toward FD
Positive rate - landing gear UP. Select HDG/FLC
Affected ENG thrust lever - Idle
Unless a critical thrust situation exist
Affected ENG FIRE switch- FIRE push
After 10 sec if L(R) ENG FIRE persists
FIRE EXT 1 switch - ARMED push
If after 30 sec L(R) ENG FIRE persists
FIRE EXT 2 - ARMED push
L(R) ENG FIRE in flight
Affected Thrust Lever - Idle Affected ENG FIRE switch - FIRE push After 10sec if L(R) ENG FIRE persists FIRE EXT 1- ARMED push If after 30 sec , L(R) ENG FIRE persists FIRE EXT 2 - ARMED push
L(R) Reverser unsafe below V1
Thrust Levers - Idle
Brakes- Max or as required
Thrust Reversers - Max or as required
L(R) Reverser unsafe after V1
Rotate at Vr
Pitch attitude - adjust to achieve V2
Initially rotate to FD adjust to maintain V2
Landing gear switch - UP after positive rate of climb
Affected engine thrust lever- Idle
Dual Engine Flameout
Crew Oxygen Mask - Don
Pilot and co-pilot O2 Mask/Norm switch - O2 Mask
Airspeed - 185 KIAS
Engine Failure below V1
Thrust Levers - Idle
Brakes- Max or as required
Thrust Reversers - Max or as required
Engine Failure above V1
Rotate at Vr
Pitch attitude - adjust as required to achieve V2
Landing gear switch -UP with positive rate of climb
Rejected Takeoff
Thrust Levers - Idle
Brakes - Max or as required
Thrust Reversers - Max or as required
Cabin/Cockpit Fire,smoke, or fumes
Crew Oxygen Mask - Don, select Emergency
Smoke Goggles - Don
Pilot and co-pilot O2 Mask/ Norm - O2 Mask
