Aborted Engine Start L,R
Fuel Control Switch (affected side)
CUTOFF
Unreliable Airspeed
Airspeed of Mach indications are suspected to be unreliable.
Identify a reliable airspeed indication if possible or continue flight using the ‘flight with unreliable airspeed table’
1.Auto Pilot Disconnect
2 A/T Arm switch (both) Off
3. F/D switches (both). Off
4. Set the following gear-up attitude/thrust.
Flaps extended …10 degrees and 85% N1
Flaps up……………..4 degrees and 70% N1
Dual Eng Fail/Stall
- Fuel Control Switches (both)
…..,,CUTOFF, then run - RAM AIR TURBINE switch
…….Push and hold for 1 second
Eng Autostart L,R
- Fuel Control switch (affected side)
….CUTOFF
Eng Lim/Surge/Stall L,R
- A/T ARM switch (affected side)
Confirm…..Off - Thrust Lever (affected side)
Confirm….retard until indications stay within limits or thrust at idle
FIRE APU
- APU fire switch…Confirm….Pull
rotate to stop and hold for 1 second - FIRE APU message stays shown:
Land at nearest suitable airport - Do not accomplish APU SHUTDOWN checklist
Fire Engine Tail Pipe L,R
An engine tailpipe fire occurs on the ground with no engine fire warning.
- FUEL control switch (affected side)
CUTOFF - Advise the Cabin
- Bleed Air Available——Start/ignition selector (affected side) …..StART
Advise ATC

- If necessary transfer control
- PA “Back up to the Flight Deck”

To remove power from the ignition source. To land the airplane asap. If needed.
- Oxygen masks and smoke goggles..ON 100%
- Crew and Cabin communications…establish
STABILIZER
1 STAB cutout switches (both) ….CUTOUT
2. Do not exceed the current air speed
Oceanic Diversion - All Engine
- Initiate applicable drills and time critical checklists.
- Declare emergency and Request clearance.
- If clearance obtained….proceed per clearance

Oceanic Diversion - Engine Out
- Initiate applicable drills and time critical checklists.
- Declare emergency and Request clearance.
- If clearance obtained….proceed per clearance

🔴 Request “ENG OUT”to be selected on FMC CRZ page
🟢PM select CRZ page. Select “ENG OUT”Confirm “MOD CRZ” is displayed.
🔴Ensure VNAV engaged then set desired EO altitude in the MCP window and call “Execute” the EO D/D page. Confirm that the thrust reference changes to “CON” and the auto-throttle maintains MCT.
🟢PM ……Executes the FMS

🔴Initiate turn with HDG/Sel (if required)
Call for “Checklist Engine Fire”
TA/RA Traffic Avoidance

Look for traffic. Reduce range. Call out conflicting traffic. Maneuver if needed.
🔴RA ……Disconnect AP and AT
Smoothly adjust pitch and thrust to satisfy RA command.
Advise ATC. “TCAS RA”
For RA in landing configuration.
AP and AT off. Advance thrust full FWD to ensure MAX thrust.
Call for “Flaps 20”
Smoothly adjust pitch to satisfy RA
After positive rate …GEAR UP
Nose Low Recovery
▪️Recognize and Confirm situation
▪️Disengage AP and AT

▪️Roll shortest direction to wings level
▪️Apply nose up elevator
▪️Apply nose up trim if needed
▪️Adjust thrust and drag if needed
