Smoke/fumes removal unpressurized

A

This procedure is usable only at low altitudes to remove smoke/fumes from the cockpit only. Descent as required. Electrical Smoke of Unknown Origin procedures must be used as required prior to using this procedure. Do not use this procedure to remove smoke or fumes from the cabin, as they will be drawn in the cockpit.

An engine flameout will be indicated by N1 and N2 windmilling, residual fuel flow and oil pressure. If ART activation, good engine parameters may flash on the EDP.

Stabilizer Runaway

A

Avoid normal pitch input until autopilot is disconnected. Extended trim operations may result in trim motor thermal shutdown. Trim motor operation may resume after sufficient cooling period.

Autopilot…Disconnect

Control wheel trim switches…trim in opposite direction of runaway

Do not use longitudinal trim (suitcase) handles to oppose runaway

APU fire control switch…Off & Agent Arm

If APU fire annunciator remains illuminated.
APU fire agent 1 or 2 switch…Disch.

If APU fire annunciator remains illuminated after 20 sec.
Remaining APU fire agent switch…Dish.
