Smoke/fumes removal unpressurized
This procedure is usable only at low altitudes to remove smoke/fumes from the cockpit only. Descent as required. Electrical Smoke of Unknown Origin procedures must be used as required prior to using this procedure. Do not use this procedure to remove smoke or fumes from the cabin, as they will be drawn in the cockpit.

Throttle (affected engine)……Idle
Thrust Reverser Extension in Flight
Throttle/Reverse Lever (aff. Eng)…..Idle/Full Down
Hot Start
Fuel flow abnormally high (above 1000PPH). Or EGT rapidly approaching ground start limit of 500 deg.
Fuel control lever affected engine….Off
Engine Failure/Flameout/Shutdown
An engine flameout will be indicated by N1 and N2 windmilling, residual fuel flow and oil pressure. If ART activation, good engine parameters may flash on the EDP.
If Flameout is Suspected
Ignition…Override
Fuel Supply…check
No Start
No Increase in EGT within 20 sec. From fuel on
Fuel control lever affected engine….Off
Wheel not turning light illuminated.
During take off if airspeed less than V1-20 Kts
Reject take off
Return to the ramp and determine the cause.
Tail compartment temp high
Pneumatic cross feed levers…closed
Airfoil anti-ice switches…Off
Both A/C supply switches…HP Bleed Off
