-degeneration of the nervous system (changes in temperament, abnormal posture, incoordination, decreased milk production, loss of condition)

-affect cattle, wine, sheep, goats, other cloven-hoofed (divided) ruminants

A

-primarily affects birds, but can also infect bats, horses, cats, dogs, chipmunks, squirrel, alligators and humans
-usually infected by infected mosquitoes bites
-leading cause of mosquito borne disease in the US (bugs get it from feeding on infected birds)

-lack of muscle coordination, difficult swallowing, excessive saliva and thirst, excessive urination
