AP OFF
A/thr OFF
FD OFF
Below thrust reduction:
TOGA
Above thrust reduction:
CLB ( MCT then back to CLB - cancel FLEX)
Pitch:
12.5 to 10 000
10 above 10 000
5 above 250
If CONF Full - Retract 1 step
Otherwise don’t change conf- Flaps/Slat
gear
Speed brakes check retracted
Loss Of Braking
“LOSS OF BRAKING”
If no braking - MAX Rev.
Brake pedals - Release
Anti-skid off - Order
Anti-skid - Off (PM)
Brake Pedal - Press
If Still no braking:
Park Brake - ON
Emergency Descent
“EMERGENCY DESCENT”
Crew Oxy mask - USE
Signs - ON
Emer Descent - INITIATE
If A/THR not active:
THR Levers - IDLE
Speed Brake Lever - FULL
STALL Recovery
“STALL, I HAVE CONTROLS”
Nose down - APPLY (reduce thrust?)
Bank - Wings Level
When out of STALL:
THRUST - INCREASE SMOOTHLY AS NEEDED
SPEEDBRAKES - CHECK RETRACTED
FLIGHT PATH - RECOVER SMOOTHLY
If in clean configuration and below 20 000 ft::
FLAP 1 - SELECT
STALL WARNING AT LIFTOFF
“STALL, TOGA 12.5”
If stall warnings trigger at liftoff, apply the following immediate actions:
THRUST - TOGA
At the same time:
PITCH ATTITUDE - 12.5 °
BANK - WINGS LEVEL
WINDSHEAR WARNING - REACTIVE WINDSHEAR
Before V1:
If there are significant variations in airspeed, and in airspeed trend below the indicated V1, reject the takeoff.
After V1:
“WINDSHEAR, TOGA”
THR LEVERS - TOGA
REACHING VR - ROTATE NORMALLY
SRS ORDERS - FOLLOW
When airborne, during initial climb, or at landing:
THR LEVERS AT TOGA - SET OR CONFIRM
AP (if engaged) - KEEP ON
SRS ORDERS - FOLLOW
DO NOT CHANGE CONFIGURATION (SLATS/FLAPS, GEAR) UNTIL OUT OF WINDSHEAR.
CAREFULLY MONITOR FLIGHT PATH AND SPEED.
RECOVER SMOOTHLY TO CLIMB, WHEN OUT OF WINDSHEAR.
TCAS WARNING - RESOLUTION ADVISORY
IF “TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC”
TCAS MODE - CHECK BLUE (ARMED)
“TCAS BLUE”
- If A/THR is OFF:
A/THR - ON
If the AP/FD TCAS mode is available:
**All RA, except any CLIMB RA during approach in CONF 3 or FULL:
**If the AP is off:
FD ORDERS - FOLLOW
The AP can be engaged.
VERTICAL SPEED - MONITOR
**Any CLIMB RA during approach in CONF 3 or FULL:
GO-AROUND - PERFORM
VERTICAL SPEED - MONITOR
Respect stall, GPWS, or windshear warning. ATC - NOTIFY
**When the “CLEAR OF CONFLICT” aural alert sounds:
AP/FD - MONITOR/FOLLOW
ATC - NOTIFY
LAT/VERT GUID. - ADJUST
SPEED - ADJUST
*If the AP/FD TCAS mode is not available (Basic TCAS Procedure):
“TCAS, I HAVE CONTROLS”
**All RA, except any CLIMB RA during approach in CONF 3 or FULL:
AP (if engaged) - OFF
FDs - OFF
Respond promptly and smoothly. VERTICAL SPEED - ADJUST or MAINTAIN
**Any CLIMB RA during approach in CONF 3 or FULL:
GO-AROUND - PERFORM.
VERTICAL SPEED - MONITOR
Respect stall, GPWS, or windshear warnings. ATC - NOTIFY
**When the “CLEAR OF CONFLICT” aural alert sounds:
ATC - NOTIFY
LAT/VERT GUID. - ADJUST
AP/FD - AS RQRD
TAWS
PULL UP
TERRAIN HEAD, PULL UP
OBSTACLE AHED, PULL UP
- If the TAWS triggers any of the PULL UP alerts:
“PULL UP, TOGA”
AP - OFF
PITCH - PULL UP
THR LEVERS - TOGA
SPEED BRAKE - CHECK RETRACTED
BANK - WINGS LEVEL OR ADJUST
DO NOT CHANGE CONFIG (SLATS/FLAPS, GEAR) UNTIL CLEAR OF OBSTACLE
TAWS (CAUTION)
—OBSTACLE AHEAD
—TERRAIN AHEAD
—TERRAIN TERRAIN
—TOO LOW TERRAIN
- During night OR IMC:
“PULL UP, TOGA
AP - OFF
PITCH - PULL UP
THR LEVERS - TOGA
SPEED BRAKE - CHECK RETRACTED
BANK - WINGS LEVEL OR ADJUST
DO NOT CHANGE CONFIG (SLATS/FLAPS, GEAR) UNTIL CLEAR OF OBSTACLE
*During day AND VMC (with terrain/obstacle clearly insight):
FLIGHT PATH - ADJUST
—SINK RATE
—GLIDE SLOPE
- Above 1000ft IMC or Above 500ft VMC:
FLIGHT PATH - ADJUST
- Below 1000ft IMC or Below 500ft VMC:
GO AROUND - CONSIDER
when conditions require deliberate app below GS:
GS MODE - OFF

FLIGHT PATH - ADJUST

GO AROUND - PERFORM
