Acetaminophen, pain relief, Tylenol, used in IV
Prednisone
Steroid, lungs, moon face, weight gain from water retention, used for skin issues, rashes

Protamine Sulfate
Antidote for heparin
Morphine Sulfate
1st check RR, pain
Diphenhydramine HCL
Benadryl, allergies, sleep, use for local anesthetic if allergies to -cain drugs
Heparin
Blood thinner, usually sub cut, IV for cardiac event, prevent blood clot, atrial fibrillation, hypolipidemea
Sodium Chloride
Only “regular” insulin can IV, fast acting
Valproic Acid
Seizure for peds, eventually need to change seizure med due to increased seizure threshold
