What were the symptoms of the Black Death?
Boils, Buboes, red and black rash, swellings inside the throat, foul breath, diohoera.
Pneumonic Plague=?
A germ that is travelling in the air, infected air.
Bubonic Plague=?
Germ lived in the blood of black rats and in the fleas on their bodies.
How long till the death of these 2 plagues?
A week.
What was a Scold’s Bridle?
It is a metal thing you put on your head and there is a metal piece you put in your mouth so that it forces your tongue down so you wont be able to talk.
What does inferior mean?
A person who is lower in rank or status than someone else.
What can’t women do that we can do now?
They can’t speak rudely, divorce her husband, marry without her parents’ permission, wear tight or revealing clothes and own property.
What is a peasants basic food?
Ale, bread, eggs, cheese, fish, vegetables, herbs and bacon.
What were the reasons why Harold lost?
Harold had to fight Harald Hadrada in York first. He won but he lost many men and the ones he still haves are badly wounded. Harold army was drunk before the night. In between the battle Harold was shot in the eye so his army didn’t have a leader and didn’t know what to do next.

Why did William win?
His army didn’t get drunk. He was a great leader they had tactics by pretending to run away and then surrounded Harold’s army.
What was the Feudal System?
A peasant being received a piece of land in return for serving a Lord or a King especially in war.
What does the villiens do?
Provide food and services when demanded.
What did Knights do?
Provide protection and military service.
What did Barons do?
Provides money and knights.
