A person would have to perform ploughing, Planting, weaving, harvesting, sewing, and fertilizing
January- repairing planting and weaving
February- ploughing fertilizing
March- sowing, weeding, ploughing
April-pruning, weeding, scaring birds
may-weeding, scaring birds
June-shearing and harvesting
July- ploughing and gathering
August- harvesting, tying and winnowing
September- harvesting, tying, winnowing, milling
October-sowing, milling, and weaving
November- butchering, salting/smoking, weaving
December- collecting, digging, weaving
What did the poor eat (4)
Peasants main food was a dark bread made of rye grain
a stew called portage, made of peas, beans, onions
the only sweet foods are berries, nuts, and honey
peasants to not eat much
What did the rich eat
The Lord always ate well, even during winter
he could afford salt to preserve his meat year-round
he could afford pepper to spice tasteless food
