what was the Magna Carta
the Magna Carta was a document that stated what was going to happen.
why was the Magna Carta created?
because king John was being unfair with his rules and it had gotten to a point were the pope no longer allowed services in England.
what did the Magna Carta state.
- the rights of every one in the feudal system
- king john could not just think of himself
- trial by ordeal had to be abolished
- a description of where the church stood in England
- a promise of fair law and all to have access to courts
what changed in medieval warfare?
from 1300 on wards
- swords became use for two hands
- metal plate amour came into action instead of chain mail
- armour became full body so suits were less necessary
- with out shield things like mace and morning star where easier to use
gunpowder
