Name the three types of plague in the order of mortality rate (less-most deadly)
Bubonic, Pneumonic, Septicaemic
What part of the body did the pneumonic plague affect?

People believed bad smells spread the plague. What did they do to deal with this?
Use of good smells-herbs, flowers, etc. Example of plague doctor’s mask containing such things.

Poor hygiene
Why did the flagellants hurt themselves?
They believed that the plague was God’s punishment for sins: if they harmed themselves, they were showing they were repenting, and so perhaps God would not give them the plague.
