Contraindication: Allergy, High Tachycardia >150
Dose: 2.5 mg/3ml
Route: Inhalation
Action: B2 Agonist
Side effects: Tachycardia
Nitroglycerin
Indication: Chest Pain
Contraindications: BP below 100 systolic, Ed drug w/last 24 hr, TBI
Dose: 0.4 mg
Route: Sublingual
Action: Vasodilator
Side effect: Headache, Low BP, Nausea, Vomiting
Aspirin
Indication: Chest Pain
Contraindications: Hemorrhage, Allergic reaction, asthma
Dose: 324 mg (2-4 tablets, 81-324 mg)
Route: Oral (PO)
Action: Platelet Inhibitors
Side Effect: Increased Bleeding, Ulcers
Glucose
Indication: Hypoglycemia
Contraindications: Can’t Swallow, Mentally incompetent
Dose: 15g
Route:Buccal
Action: Increase Blood sugar (BS)
Side effect: Nausea, vomiting
Narcan/Naloxone
Indication: Suspected overdose
Contraindication: n/a
Dose: 0.4 mg - 2 mg
Route: Internasal (IN)
Action: Opioid receptor antagonist
Side effects: nausea, vomiting, tremors, withdrawal
Activated Charcoal
Indication: Acute Overdose
Contraindication: Decreased Mental Status
Dose: 1 g / kg of body weight
Route: Oral
Action: Binds and prevents absorption
Side effect: Nausea, Vomiting, diarrhea
Epinephrine
Indication: Anaphylactic
Contraindication: Tachycardia
Dose: child-0.15mg adult-0.3mg
Route: IM
Action: vasoconstrictor, Bronchodilator
Side effect: Tachycardic
