A

Anaphylaxis, severe asthma, cardiac arrest and ROSC
No contraindications
Intramuscular 0.5ml drawn from a 1:1000 vial
Intravenous 1ml drawn a 1:1000 vial (only cardiac)
Repeated every 3-5 minutes no max

Amiodarone

A

Cardiac arrest post three consecutive shocks (VF/VT)
No contraindications in this use
Intravenous 300mg in 6 ml drawn from 2 vials of 150mg in 3 ml
Repeated 150mg in 3 ml dosage after another three consecutive shocks

A

A

Intranasal 60mcg in 0.2ml from 600mcg in 2ml drawn extra 0.1 to prime aspirator

A

Hypoglycaemia 1st line in unconscious or risk of aspiration
No contraindications in this setting
Intravenous 10g in 100ml from 50g in 500ml draw 5X 20ml vials with a bag of saline drip FLUSH after ever syringe
Repeat in 5 minutes if needed

A

Hypotension under 90 systolic, symptomatic Brady/tachycardia and use of erectile dysfunction meds in 24 hours
Sublingual 0.4mg one spray
Repeated every 5 minutes no max

A

Seizure and sedation
Hypersensitivity to benzodiazepines, symptomatic hypotension and shock

Repeat after 5 minutes max 15 mg

Hypersensitivity to ondansetron or other 5HT3 receptor antagonists

A

Minor pain, headache, fever
Hypersensitivity, previous dose less than 4 hours or 4mg in 24 hours, respiratory depression
Per oral 0.5/1g
Repeat every 4 hours 4G max

Fluid therapy
Fluid overload
Hypovolaemic shock IV 20ml X kg 250ml bolus
Hypovolaemic cardiac shock IV 20ml X kg once only
