the front, or palm of the hand
Inferior
below - at a lower level

vertical plane that passes through the body dividing it into right and left halves
Superficial
near the body surface

Farther into the body and away from the surface
Anterior/Ventral
towards the front/anterior surface of the body
Recumbent
lying down
