Q

What is the difference between EMR and EHR?

A

EMR contains the standard medical and clinical data gathered in one providers office. EHR does beyond the data collected in the provider’s office and include a more comprehensive patient history. EHRs are designed to reach out beyond the health organization that originally collects and compiles the information
