Dominant reading: Receiver shares the encoding of the message. Accepts ruling ideology.
Negotiated reading: Receiver shares in part only the encoding of the message. Some elements are rejected.
Oppositional reading : Receiver is criticizing the encoded message, and has an alternative message to propose.
