Why a decline in media trust over time?

  1. Focus on Strategy–people suspect news of having ulterior motive and focus on strategy.
  2. Focus on Celebrity– A lot of news coverage given to celebrities and media focuses on it so much.
  3. Politicians slam media–they speak out against negative media coverage.
  4. Coverage of Media by Media–media fact check each other and shoot themselves in the foot.
