Similar to posts but are best for static content which you want to always be accessible and doesn’t change too often.
What is this? The location or even existence of these depend on your theme. You can add widget to these.

Extended features that you can turn off and on in your blog.eg. Calendar, Facebook and Twitter connections.

Posts. Usually in reverse chronological order.

Depending on your theme, these are allowed on posts and sometimes on pages.
