Amenorrhea
an abnormal absence of menstruation.
Anemia
a decrease in the concentration of red blood cells or of Hemoglobin in the blood. May cause pallor of the skin.
Antibody
a substance produced by the immune system to fight invading organisms.
Angina
cardiac pain due to poor blood supply to the heart.
Anuria
failure of kidneys to produce urine.
Appendectomy
excision of the appendix.
Ataxia
a jerky unsteadiness of the limbs and body due to disease or condition.
Cardiovascular
relating to the heart and blood vessels.
Auscultation
listening to sounds of the limbs and body due to disease or condition.
Cardiomegaly
enlargement of heart.
Cardiomyopathy
disease of heart muscle
