- remove all air bubbles
-Rotate site 1 inch from previous site
- common site: back of arms, thighs and abdomen cat least 2 inches away from the belly button)

COMPLICATIONS
-Hypoglycemia (especially with rapid insulin)
-weight gain
-lipoatrophy (loss of subcut fat)
