A

eye drops:
drop in conjunctival sac, press on nasolacrimal duct to prevent systemic effect, wait 5 mins before admin other med

ointment:
place on lower lid from inner to outer
do NOT touch dropper to the eye

warm drops beforehand to prevent vertigo/ear pain

place pt in lateral position, pull ears appropriate for age, place drops w/5 mins between each
apply cotton afterwards
