Customary units of length
12 inches= a foot, 36 inches= 1 yards 3 feet= 1 yard, 1760 yards= 1 mile, 5280 feet=1 mile
Customary units of weight
16 ounces= a pound, 2000 pounds= 1 ton
Customary unit of capacity
4 quarts= 1 gallon, 2 pints= 1 quart, 2 cups= a pint, there are eight fl oz= a cup
Metric units of mass
1000 milligrams = 1 grams, 1000 grams = kilograms
Metric units of length
10 millimeters = 1 centimeter, 100 centimeter = 1 meter, 1000 meter= 1 kilometer
Metric system
Units of decimal measurement which is used everywhere except USA and somewhere else.
Metric units of capacity
1000 milliliter = 1 liters
