Q

How do you find the area of a circle?

A

If the radius is 6 inches, to find the area you must multiply 6 by itself then multiply it by pi e.g. 6x6=36, 36x3.14=113.04 inches squared.

Q

How do you find the volume of an irregular shape?

A

First irregular shapes, we use water displacement. We measure the water in a graduated cylinder, we then place the object in the graduated cylinder. Measure how much the volume of the water has gone up on the side.
