- as a country develops = usually people’s standard of living and quality life will improve

- HDI (human development index)
- DTM (demographic transition model)

A
it shows birth rate (BR) , death rate (DR) and life expectancy
- (so it shows the HDI)

- shows a summary of average measure achievement in key aspects of human development
- examples would be : a long & healthy life , being know-ledgeable and have a standard of living
