The amount a container can hold.
Length
Measurement of the distance between points.
Weight
A measurement that tells how heavy an object is.

Mass
Measure of the amount of matter in an object.

1,000 grams = 1 kilogram
Metric Units of Length
10 millimeters = 1 centimeter
100 centimeters = 1 meter
1,000 meters = 1 kilometer

1,000 millimeters = 1 liter
