What is Measles?
Measles are a Pathogen, more specifically a virus, Viruses reproduction via hijacking a cell and changing its genetic code to produce more Viruses which can damage or kill the host cell
Symptoms of Measles
Symptoms of this disease in the early days is similar to the common cold, coughing, sneezing, runny noses but after a couple of days a rash may appear, these rashes can clog up to form blotchy patches and it can further into possible blindness and brain damages
How do you catch viruses?
Measles spreads by the inhalation of coughs and sneezes and is very infectious. Measles is a serious disease and can cause blindness and brain damage. In 2013 a little more than 145 thousand people died globally from this disease.
How can you treat it?
There is no treatment for it but you can prevent it by getting a vaccine. However, if you are unfortunate enough to get this virus then you have to isolate to prevent others from getting the disease.
