What is mean and how do you figure out the mean of a number.
Mean is where you where you add up the list of numbers and then divide by how meany numbers there are and then you get the mean of the list of numbers.
What is mode and how do you figure out the mode out of a list of numbers?
To find the mode you have to look at all the numbers and see which number you see the most and then you have the mode.
What is median and how do you figure out the median out of a list of numbers?
To find the median out of a list of numbers you put the numbers in order ( low to high ) then see which one is in the middle if there are two and they aren’t the same number then you find the middle of those two numbers, then you have your median.
What is the rhyme to remember for remembering the difference between ‘ mean, mode, median and range’?
Mean is average Mean is average.
Mode is most Mode is most.
Medians in the middle Medians in the middle.
Range is high to low Range is high to low.
What is range and how do you figure out the range out of a list of numbers?
To find the range you have to find the highest number in a list of numbers and the lowest and take away the lowest number from the highest. Then you have your range.
