How is mead made?
Basic need is produced by mixing honey and water together in adding needs to begin of fermentation. It can range from bone dry to extremely sweet similar to late harvest dessert wines depending upon the degree to which it is fermented.

Malted, barley hops, spices, fruits, and herbs.

Braggot (made with the addition of malted barley and or hops)
Cyser (produce with apple juice added)
Melomel (usually made with fruit such as berries)
Metheglin (A basic meadthat has herbs or spices steeped in it after fermentation)
Pyment (has red or white grape juice added this is a hybrid of mead and wine)
What is cider?
Also referred to as high hard cider it is fermented apple juice that is produced in many regions where it is too cold to grow grapes. Cider production has been a staple in England and in northern France especially near Normandy.

What is the difference between a regular apple and a cider apple
Well both can be sweet a cider apple will have a higher acid content
What is the average range of alcohol content in cider?
Roughly between 3% to 8% or more
What is Mead?
