How many main types of Pronouns in Tagalog? And what are they?
Three In Tagalog there are three sorts of pronouns,
- ANG pronouns
- Ng (pronounced nang) pronouns
- Sa pronouns.
What does ANG pronoun do in tagalog?
It is called a focus marker, it marks the subject, or the actor of a sentence, since he, she or it is in the focus of conversation.
What does NG do in Tagalog?
NG pronounced nang is called the out of focus marker and it usually describes the object or the one or theme talked about.
What does SA do in Tagalog?
Sa is a direction or place marker also it introduces the beneficiary of an action.
Ex) Binili ko ang bulaklak para sa iyo. = I bought flowers for you.
