• The foundation of SOCIAL, BEHAVIOURAL, and FITNESS related skills that children need to possess or develop in order to receive the benefits of physical activity and support for lifetime enjoyment and success!
Social/cognitive

Someone who is physically literate

Economy of Movement
•can be MEASURED
- “smooth”
- energy minimizing
Physically challenging
•a continuum (small-large)
•a relative term depending on age and body scaling
-easy for one is hard for another
