- Direct trauma to the lateral knee creating a valgus force

- Grade 1: Palpatory tenderness
- Grade 2: Gapping & Pain, Increased values laxity at 20-30 flexion, Soft End feel
- Grade 3: Greatest valgus laxity at 0 and 20-30 flexion, Soft End feel
