“Plucked the nipple from his boneless gums, and dashed the brains our had I so sworn”-
“Plucked” shows how simple it would be for her to carry out something so devastating. She goes against nature by refusing to nurture a child and instead describes how she would kill it.
“Boneless” shows how young and vulnerable the baby would be at this point and it is when she should be taking care of it the most, she subverts the conventional idea with this quote.
“Dashed” shows how she would have bashed a baby’s head in if she had promised it. During this whole quote she uses violence to convince McB of her commitment to him. Violence against the thing she would care most about.
