MAX REVERSE LIMITS Flashcards
MAXIMUM REVERSE CTMT
360 TO 560
MAXIMUM REVERSE IHP
680 TO 2000
MAXIMUM REVERSE % RPM
96.5 - 105.5
MAX REVERSE G/B OIL PRESSURE
150 - 250 (4) (10)
(4) OPERATION BELOW 150 PSI WHEN RPM IS BELOW 100 PERCENT IS PERMITTED IF 150 PSI CAN BE MAINTAINED AT 100 PERCENT RPM. AT OPERATING OIL TEMPERATURE, A PRESSURE OF 100 PSI IS NORMAL AT THE LOW SPEED GROUND IDLE CONDITION. PRESSURE VALUES DOWN TO 25 PSI (RGB AND PS) ARE ACCEPTABLE AT LSGI ENGINE RPM.
(10) WHEN STARTING ENGINES, ENGINE OIL LOW LIGHT AND/OR HIGHER THAN NORMAL OIL PRESSURES MAY BE EXPERIENCED PRIOR TO ATTAINING NORMAL OIL TEMPERATURE. CLOSELY MONITOR PRESSURES ABOVE 250 PSI BECAUSE THE RELIEF VALVE MAY MASK AN IMPENDING OIL SYSTEM MALFUNCTION.
MAXIMUM REVERSE P/S OIL PRESSURE
50 - 60
(100 PERMITTED DURING START AND WARM-UP)
MAXIMUM REVERSE OIL TEMP
50 - 90 (5)
(100 PERMITTED FOR 30 MINUTES) (12)
(5) USE MINIMUM POWER FOR OIL TEMPERATURE BELOW 0 C. MAXIMUM POWER IS 1000 ISHP FOR OIL TEMPERATURE BETWEEN 0 AND 50 C OR WHEN READY FOR T/O, 40 C AND INCREASING. IN FLIGHT 100 C IS PERMITTED FOR 5 MINUTES THEN 90 C IS MAXIMUM.
(12) DURING PROLONGED OPERATION IN LSGI, ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE MAY EXCEED THE MAXIMUM LIMIT. ADVANCE POWER LEVERS TOWARD FLT IDLE UP TO 13 DEGREES TO INCREASE AIRFLOW THROUGH OIL COOLERS. TEMPERATURES MAY SPIKE WHEN OPERATING NEAR AIRCRAFT DUE TO HOT EXAUST GAS INGESTION.
