Matt 5:3-10
9 “Happy”
🔸 conscious of their spiritual need, Kingdom belongs to them
🔸 mourn, will be comforted
🔸 mild-tempered, inherit earth
🔸 hungering and thirsting for righteousness, will be filled
🔸 merciful, shown mercy
🔸 pure in heart, see God
🔸 peacemakers, called sons of God
🔸 persecuted for righteousness, Kingdom belongs to them
🔸 reproached and persecuted, as were prophets

🔺 You are the salt. “If the salt loses its strength, it is no longer usable for anything except to be thrown outside.”
🔻 You are the light. “Let your light shine before men, so they may see your fine works and give glory to your father who is in heaven.”
Matt 5:17-20
Do not think I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I came, not to destroy, but to fulfill. (“until all things take place”)
