What is the formula to convert fractions to percentages? i.e 23/100
if the denominator is 100, divide top number by bottom number 23/100=0.23, which is the same as 23%
What is the formula to convert fractions to percentages when the denominator is not 100? i.e. 32/50
Find an equivalent fraction (at number cab be multiplied by both 32 and 50, so that the Denominator is /100?
i.e. 50 x 2 = 100 and 32/2=64, so answer is 64/100 or 64%
What is 1 litre equivalent to in millilitres?
1000 millilitres
What total degrees does a triangle add up to?
Always 180 degrees
A 90 degree angle is what fraction?
1/4
A square has 4 x 90 degree angles, what is the total?
360 degrees
A half turn is how many degrees?
180 degrees
A full turn is how many degrees?
360 degrees
What is a median of a number?
Is the middle number, when laid out from lowest number to highest number. If there are two median (middle) numbers, then add these two numbers together and divide by 2, to find the median
What is the mean of a number?
Mean is an average.
Add all numbers together and divide by the number of numbers to find the mean
What is the range of a number?
The difference between the highest and lowest number
What is the mode of a number?
The number which occurs most often is the mode number
What formula to calculate the area of a rectangle or square shape?
length x width
What is the formula for calculating the perimeter of a rectangle?
Perimeter = 2 (w + h)
