Q

3 formlas for triangle

A

(Need base and height) bh/2 or 1/2 x bh,
(Need all 3 sides) A = s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c) square root that and s is = a+b+c/2,

Q

Area of Triangular prism

A

V = LxWxh,/2, LxW(of base/ the triangle), h(height is not the triangle height, it’s the prism from the triangular base)

Q

Surface Area and Volume of Cube

A

SA = L^2 x 6
V=L^3

17
Q

Surface Area and Volume of a Sphere

A

SA = 4 x pie x r^2
V = 4/3 pie r^3 (make sure to put ^3)

18
Q

Volume of Cylinder

A

V = Ah, (pie x r^2 x h)

A = Area of base of cylinder(the circle), which is pie x r^2
h= height

19
Q

Formula to find density

A

p= m/v

N.B Not actually a p, I don’t have the sign for density that’s why.

p= density
m= mass
v= volume

20
Q

Directly proportional, indirectly or inversely proportional

A

Directly proportional - x = ky x = the sign times y

Inversely proportional - x = k/x x = the sign 1/y

Remember, if the question asked you to square or cube something, then do so.
E.g . x = k/x^2
