Alternatively, divide by the bottom and times by the top (25/5 = 5 5x2 = 10 2/5 = 10)

Miixed number, time the number outside of the fraction by the bottom number, and add it to the top number (=21/5) To write as a mixed number, divide the top number but leave the remainder as the top number, and write the answer outside the fraction (eg; 21/5 = 4 remainder 1 all over 5, which = 4 1/5)
