What is a concave polygon?
A polygon with one or more interior angles greater than 180°
What is a convex polygon?
A polygon with all interior angles less than 180°
What is a cross section?
The 2-dimensional shape created when a solid is cut
What is an exterior angle of a polygon?
Angle on the outside of a polygon formed by the side and an extension of its adjacent side
What is an interior angle of a polygon?
Angle on the inside of a polygon formed by pairs of adjacent sides
What is an irregular polygon?
Polygon that is not equilateral or equiangular
What is an isosceles trapezoid?
A trapezoid with one pair of congruent sides called legs
What is a kite?
A quadrilateral with two pairs of congruent sides adjacent to each other
What is a parallelogram?
A quadrilateral with opposite sides parallel

Segment from center of a regular polygon; bisects & forms right angle to side
What does it mean to bisect?
To cut in half creating congruent segments or angles
What does perpendicular mean?
Forming right angles
