Maternal Death (maternal mortality)

Death, indirect or direct, more than 42 days but less than one year after termination.

Death, within 42 days after termination, despite any cause.
Pregnancy-Related Death
people w/ midwifery skills- trained profieciently in skills to manage a normal delivery, diagnose, and refer obstetric complications.

Maternal Mortality Ratio
