Materials Flashcards

1
Q

what is the method for making paper

A
  1. tiny chips of wood are cooked in chemicals and water to create a mushy pulp
  2. the pulp is poured of a fine mesh
  3. the water drains away and the fibres link together when they touch
  4. the fibres are sent through rollers which squeezes out any excess water which strengthens the fibres
