Clay
Very absorbent, making them good for the mask.
Usually, using white Kaolin clay in cosmetics.
Bentonite/montmorillonite clay
Highly absorbent when compared to other clays.
Creates a gel when combined with water.
High PH 9, so don’t us around eyes or peploe with sensitive skins
Cocoa butter
Quickly absorbs into the skin.

Natural product has a chocolaty smell.
Coconut Oil, extra virgin
Quickly absorbs into the skin.
Imparts a tropical scent into lip balms and body butters.
Emulsifying Wax
Used to mix water and oil.
Use complete Emulsifying Wax
Several formulations use this one Emulsifying Wax NF.
Evening Primrose Oil
Contains 72% Linoleic acid and 10% gamma-linoleic acid.
These two fatty acids have been shown to be great for acne, eczema, inflammation, dry skin, and dermatitis.
Fairly thick, so blend it with carrier oil and scent it with a few drops of essential oil.
Grapeseed Oil
Quickly absorbs into the skin with a beautiful satiny finish.
Jojoba Oil
Quickly absorbs into the skin quickly, leaving a smooth finish.
